Job Summary
The Greenhouse Information Specialist is responsible for providing on-site, localized clerical and administrative support to the overall operations of greenhouse and nursery facilities. Responsibilities include entry, collection, and review of system data. Generation of reports and support during all greenhouse/nursery tasks.
Essential Requirements

• Ensure the quality of data entered in the systems, Farm Labor Contractor Web App, Microsoft Nav, GEM, HortiBench and others, as assigned, is accurate.
• Work with growers and their staff to ensure all germinations, plant movements, crop health reports, plant-ready, loads, shipping, returns, dumps, and other nursery activities are reported and captured in the appropriate system.
• In close collaboration with the site grower, submit FLC labor requests.
• In conjunction with accounting, operations and other departments assist in the timely completion of inventory counts, discrepancy resolution, and any other additional reporting.
• Monitor and timely report any malfunction of the system's hardware (laptop, Wi-fi, tablets, etc.) to the IT department and supervisor.
• Print, send, distribute and collect paperwork related to the proper operation of the company nurseries and greenhouses.
• Ensure the flow of information through interaction with Farm Labor Contractors' Staff and other GTI's departments.
• Assist during third-party audits collecting and presenting info as requested.
• Follow all internal policies regarding Safety, GAPs, NOP and Food Safety regulations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

*The expected pay range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position is $18.00 to $20.00. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. (Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors)

• High School or GED Diploma required.
• 2 years related work experience and or training in related field required.
• Basic computer skills, as well as knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred but not required.
• Occasional business travel to other GTI locations, up to 10%.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close distance and color vision. Some temperature gradient changes between indoor and outdoor environments, uneven surfaces, dust and wet areas are also expected.
