Aftermarket Performance Group is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near Rexburg, ID

Job Summary Graphic Designer Location: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days home) in the following locations only: Des Moines, IA Export, PA or Silverdale, WA
Salary: $22 - $28 Non-Exempt
Shift/Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm MST.

  • One position will support our Automotive aftermarket brands in the Japanese Sport Compact and associated markets.
  • One position will support our Automotive aftermarket brands accessories in the truck, Jeep and off-road markets.
Job SummaryAre you an auto enthusiast who is creative, and would love to work in the Aftermarket Auto Parts Industry? If you said yes to these questions, then keep reading! The Graphic Designer position is responsible for creating visual communications and images for our Automotive aftermarket brands through various media platforms. Design and create graphics to meet advertising needs with promotional items including emails, banners, contests, magazine advertisements, t-Shirts, show booths, business cards, photos, catalogs, calendars, company website and any other marketing platform. Reports to the Marketing Manager.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type
  • Collaborate with other departments, teams and leaders to achieve stated goals.
  • Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
  • Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with vendors and manager and make necessary changes.
  • Use computer software to generate creative marketing graphics and images
  • Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products
  • Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer software.
  • Research new software or design concepts.
  • Determine designs and redesign of various images
  • Stay current on marketing trends
  • Assist with sending out new product releases.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • Associates degree in Graphic Design or Visual Media; or, combination of education and work-related experience
  • Ability to upload online portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills required
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite to include: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
