GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• E.R., or I.C.U. experience – Clinical Assessment Skills Preferred (not required)
• Assess patient symptoms and assists with medical issues related to health concerns.
• Uses excellent listening skills to receive detailed information.
• Utilize electronic protocol database to assess, educate and document all health information
• Responsive to the needs of a 24/7/365 operation
• Able to lift and carry computer equipment up to 25 lbs
