Education/Qualifications:
An advanced degree in an appropriate social service field (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology), or other acceptable field. A licensed individual (LMHC, LCSW, LMSW) is preferred but not mandatory.
5 years of successful senior leadership experience within the DHS shelter system, in which three years must have been in a supervisory capacity.
Superior analytical, communication skills (written and verbal), and presentation skills.

While not mandatory, language fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Nature and Scope:AAPCI’s shelter sites will become a pathfinder and model program to demonstrate that, contrary to the welfare hotel experience, single adult men and women can receive quality services in a humane and cost-effective manner.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of New York State and City pay transparency laws. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individuals’ competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $110,000 - 120,000 per year.
