AFP Industries, Inc., a distributor of industrial parts, has openings for an Industrial Parts Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative in our Augusta, GA location. Applicants should have an understanding of industrial distribution, be customer focused, resourceful and driven to provide the utmost in customer service. You will work in a team environment to support customers in local territories. We would love to speak with you about this opportunity!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers via telephone and email to provide support and information on products, services and order status.
• Handle requests for price quotes, credit applications, purchase orders, order adjustments and order cancellations.
• Place timely orders with vendors by computer, phone, email or fax.
• Remain current with discount structure and AFP products.
• Maintain customer accounts, build relationships.
• Work closely with inside sales and sales reps in team environment.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn industrial products and applications required.
• Proficient computer skills.

Physical Requirement:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on computer, phone.
