Overview: We are currently seeking a Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to materials handling and yard operations. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate equipment such as clamp trucks, reach trucks, and cranes. If you have experience in distribution centers or materials handling, we encourage you to apply. Duties: - Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment - Operate clamp trucks, reach trucks, and cranes to move materials within the yard - Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning - Assist with rigging and lifting operations as needed - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines Experience: - Previous experience working in a distribution center or similar environment preferred - Familiarity with operating clamp trucks, reach trucks, and cranes - Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting - Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently - Experience with materials handling and yard operations - Familiarity with using a picker is a plus We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
