System Engineer - 95-105K
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with customers to further understand and define their requirements
- Ensuring technical adherence to project and system requirements
- Facilitating and leading the creation, review, and maintenance of the requirements VCRM, risk register, FMEA, and risk mitigation plans
- Providing technical expertise to architect and develop high-quality, verifiable requirements
- Driving regular reviews of the project’s risks, risk mitigation plans, and risk reduction activities
- Presenting updates and technical presentations to both internal and external customers
- Collaborate with our customers to further understand and define their requirements
- Supporting the engineering development of manufacturing test fixtures and documentation
- Providing subject matter expertise, technical review, design guidance, and mentoring.
- Developing system and subsystem requirements.
- Knowledgeable of electrical standards/codes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Controls Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of prior electrical or engineering experience
- Experience using MCAD & ECAD for both simulation and design
- Experience with C/C /C# desirable
- Understand and apply various compliance codes
- Experience leading the development of aerospace systems, from conceptual design through production
- Hands-on experience working with machine shops, specifying bearings, and other hardware, integrating prototype mechanical and electrical components, and conducting performance tests
- SolidWorks, PLECS, Simulink, LabVIEW, and MATLAB experience desired
- Broad theoretical and practical knowledge of model-based systems engineering as it applies to the acquisition process.
