Job Description:
Are you dedicated and compassionate? We're actively seeking committed Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will have completed a comprehensive training program and passed the Georgia Personal Care Assisted Written Exam.
Position Type: Fulltime
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Range: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
PCA Employment Requirements:
- *Reliable Transportation *On-time attendance on Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM *Ability to work autonomously and make sound judgments *Demonstrated dependability, tact, and obedience to instructions *Have reliable transportation and auto insurance *Completion of health assessment and TB screening *US citizenship or evidence of alien work permit *Clean fingerprint background check with no records related to health services or Personal Care Attendant occupation *No history of endangering vulnerable adults' health and welfare *Completion of drug screening with no dependency on mood-altering substances *Completion of one or more of the following training programs:
*Nursing Assistant Training Program *Homemaker-Home Health Aide Training Program *Accredited Educational Program for RNs or LPNs *Training Program for Personal Care Attendant Services *Supervising RN Determination
PCA Specific Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- *Assist with Personal Hygiene/Grooming *Assist with Mobility and Walking Up Stairs *Monitoring Vital *Meal Preparation *Light Housekeeping *Errands and Transportation
