Affordable Family Care Services - Raleigh is Hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) frm 10a-6p every other weekend Near Raleigh, NC

This is a female client located in Raleigh, NC. Total care, all adls, meals and med reminders. Client uses hoyer lift transfers. The client has a private aide in the home to assist with all tasks. No pets in the home. You must have your C.N.A license on the NC state registry.

We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a strong background in healthcare. The day-to-day duties of this role include planning and preparing meals, helping clients with mobility around or outside of the house, and providing personal hygiene assistance.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
Plan and prepare meals
Assist with physical therapy exercises
Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
Perform housekeeping duties
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
Your vehicle must be insured.
You must have a valid driver’s license.
You will need a current TB
Your CNA license on the N.C state registry
You must pass a Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.
