Duties :

• Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with medical documentation and record keeping.
• Provide catheter care and assist with other medical procedures as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
• Assist with hospice care for terminally ill clients.
• Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Experience :

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
• Familiarity with catheter care, hospice care, dementia care, and senior care is beneficial.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
