Medical Front Desk Receptionist
Front desk person needed to greet arriving patients, collect needed information and facilitate transition to clinic. Must have good people skills, positive personality and be able to multi-task. Position requires phone skills and message taking. Previous work with an electronic health record is helpful. One year experience in a doctor's office is preferred.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the front desk
- Answer and direct phone calls using the company's phone system
- Provide general information to callers and visitors
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist e is preferred
- Familiarity with operating phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
