Affectionately Cats Feline Veterinary Hospital, LOCATED in Williston, VT is the state's only feline exclusive hospital! We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our growing team. We take a lot of pride in our staff and their wellbeing, making sure to train everyone so they can further develop their skills and passions. Most of our staff are actively taking classes to invest in their future and we are interested in applicants who pursue personal and professional growth. As a technician on our team, part of your duties will be sharing your knowledge with others to help them learn and grow, too. We strongly believe communication is key and should go both ways; you can talk with your manager or the owner anytime, and they will always reach out to you to ensure you know about significant changes and provide any needed support.

We realize time spent with your family or friends is important, and we strive to provide a positive work-life balance. We are closed nights and Sundays, meaning, no long evening or Sunday shifts required! Your schedule will include the occasional half day on Saturdays. The opportunity to assist with boarding and sick patients on Sundays is available for those interested, but not required.

We are currently offering a robust pay and benefits package including relocation assistance and pay of up to 28/hr. dependent upon credentials and experience. Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a veterinary tech required.
• Veterinary technician license preferred.
• Ability to assist the DVM during appointments.
• Ability to collect, perform and interpret a variety of diagnostics.
• Ability to perform blood draws.
• Ability to place IV catheters.
• Ability to properly restrain patients.
• Ability to maintain accurate electronic patient/client records.
• Adept communication skills with owners, staff, and directors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
