AF Amorello & Sons is currently recruiting for the position of a Construction superintendent/foreman.

A. F. Amorello is union heavy civil company located in central MA that specializes in site work / roadway construction/ utility installation and paving project in Central and Eastern Massachusetts.

Candidates should possess the following:

• Experience with layout and grade as per ADA standards. Direct and supervise employees. Must have the ability to read and interpret construction plans. OSHA 10 Certified.
• experience with drain/water/sewer instalation.
• experience with Massdot and private work.
• Strong communication skills; timeliness, organized and high attention to detail and positive work attitude required.
• Ability to monitor and assist with several projects concurrently required.
• Ability to read and understand engineering plans and contract specifications,
• Familiarity with Trimble GPS Systems a Plus

Key Responsibilities Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities
• Supervise and train workers and tradespeople

Requirements: 3-5 years experience in the field required

• Public works experience
