CAREER LADDER TITLE: Navy FIP IV Staff Consultant

LOCATION: Washington, DC/ Mostly Remote

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Aeyon is currently seeking qualified candidates to support the Department of Navy’s (DON) Financial Management Transformation Initiatives and execution of Full Financial Statements Audit objectives from the DON Financial Management Strategy.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Familiarity with DON processes and procedures is preferred
• Ability to apply technical expertise and skills to implement business solutions
• Demonstrate and understanding of accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations
• Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of Federal Government’s financial and management responsibilities
• Researching and developing audit responses
• Assist in the development of selected financial and IT process area Key Supporting Documents (KSD)
• Maintain, revise, and update audit response foundational infrastructure documents to include, but not limited to, Standard Operating Procedures, (SOP), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Metrics Reports, Audit Stakeholders’ Guidance, Business Rules, Root Cause Analysis, and the KSD Portfolio
• Provide recommendations and a control gap analysis on the FISCAM controls relevant to the analysis
• Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client’s environment

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret Clearance

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in a field of study relevant to his/her professional role

Mandatory: 4-year degree that meets education requirements is required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Level I – Candidate must have a minimum of 2-years full-time (excluding internships) experience within the past 5-years of progressive experience providing consulting services to the Federal Government Agencies or Fortune 500 companies. Familiarity with DON processes and procedures preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

The implementation and enforcement of Executive Order 14043 is currently suspended under an injunction pending further litigation. Once the litigation concludes, Candidates may be required to be vaccinated to be eligible for employment, except in limited circumstances where an employee is legally entitled to accommodation.
