The Senior Scheduler will provide scheduling support for the Science Projects Branch Office under the NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

• Provide scheduling support for the Science Projects Office.
• Develop schedules for projects and proposals utilizing NASA and industry standards and best practices.
• Provide updates, statuses, and maintenance inputs to the IMS.
• Conduct schedule health checks.
• Participate in weekly project meetings with project personnel and subject matter experts to gather schedule status information.
• Develop, status, report, and document schedules and metrics for program and project management. Provide schedule analysis and report schedule findings as required.
• Develop analysis of major projects within the program, including the forecasting and identification of risks, and develop recommendations to resolve identified risks.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferred: BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Desired 15 years of applicable experience
• Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
• Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.) desired.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Advanced experience using Microsoft Project.
• Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
• Experience with engineering process for building flight hardware a plus.
• Advanced understanding of GAO Best Practices for Project Schedules a plus.
• Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable.
• Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus.
