Your day-to-day work will include:

The Risk Coordinator will support NASA under the CPSS contract at Glenn Research Center (GRC) Armstrong Test Facility (ATF).

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the GRC-ATF Functional Risk Coordinator in accordance with GLPR8000.4
  • Establish, monitor, analyze, implement, and improve the GRC-ATF risk management processes, procedures, and tools in accordance with the Agency, Center, and GRC-ATF guidance.
  • Maintain the GRC-ATF station-level Risk Scorecard (likelihood vs. consequence matrix) and translations to other stakeholder scorecards.
  • Conduct GRC-ATF Risk Board activities and meetings.
  • Track and report on GRC-ATF risks that have been validated by the GRC-ATF Risk Board.
  • Facilitate the identification, assessment, mitigation, disposition, and closure of GRC-ATF risks.
  • Assist directorate personnel in the development of risk information (risk statements, mitigation plans, etc.).
  • Provide training related to GRC-ATF risk management processes and practices.
  • Define, develop, collect, track, document, and report GRC-ATF risk metrics, including, but not limited to, escalated risks on a quarterly basis to the Center Management Council (CMC), the Mission Support Council (MSC), the Senior Advisory Council (SAC), the Safety and Mission Assurance Management Board (SMB), the Space Environments Testing Management Office (SETMO) Program, and the Rocket Propulsion Testing (RPT) Program.

Experience Requirements:

  • Desired 15 years
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Experience providing independent systems engineering support associated with the development and evaluation of risk management processes and documentation and other system engineering functions.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
  • Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Work Environment- Generally an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
  • Physical Requirements- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. (5% of time).
  • Equipment and Machines- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
  • Attendance- Regular attendance in accordance with the established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust the schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
  • Other Essential Functions- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

Work hours:

Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up.
