Your day-to-day work will include:

The Systems SME, Sr. position will provide Information Technology Risk and Analysis Services to the Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Deputy Commandant for Information (DCI) Chief Information Officer (CIO) Information Command Control Communications Computers (IC4) Division. Services include providing a reasonable assurance that IT system process weaknesses can be prevented or detected early enough to mitigate and prevent an adverse impact on the organization. Serve as data specialist to support Task Force Network Modernization, Network Governance, and IC4 Division of DC I. The contractor will analyze, collect, sort, and create testable electronic data and information systems. Compile the data regularly to create reports they provide to upper management or present at board meetings to aid in decision-making. They consult with others who utilize this data in other projects.

Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Progressive financial and/or logistics and/or system experience.
• General experience required includes increasing responsibilities in the design and/or maintenance of systems.
• Familiar with Design and Development Software Process Activities, including Waterfall and Agile Design Processes, as well as familiarization with the design and development of databases.
• Progressive experience in the design and installation of integrated systems of personnel, materials, machinery, and/or equipment.
• Experienced in PowerBI / Dashboard / Metrics reporting.
• Understand goals and create/display reportable metrics on progress at the O5 level or higher.
• Marine Corps experience a plus

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 8 years of directly related professional experience performing related tasks.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work remotely.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task and employ problem-solving skills.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: CPA/CDFM / CGFM / DoD FM preferred, not required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Administration, or other related business, scientific or technical discipline.

Work hours:

Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.
