Job Summary: Physical review of gears and components; review of documentation thereof (i.e. Customer Repair Orders, Work Scopes, etc). Decipher inspection procedures from Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Service Letters (SLs), Service Information Letters (SILs), Airworthiness Limitations Section (ALS). Determine configuration of gears and components thereof. Create, maintain and revise (as necessary) Bills of Material (BOMs), Inspection Reports (form title and number tbd), Master Travelers (planning), testing procedures, Torque Tables, 8130 block 12 statement. Review and approve repair orders (ROs). Further duties as instructed by supervisor/manager/director/general manager.
