Essential Functions:
• Assist with quality control and inspection involving tools, techniques and contract and industry standard requirements.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining internal and external AS-9102 standards per contract and customer requirements.
• Inspect incoming products per internal specifications and customer contract requirements.
• Work with internal team members and external vendors to resolve any issues pertaining to product design or contract requirements.
• Work closely with divisions QA Engineers and ISO management representative.
• Participate in department improvement activities.
• Perform functions within configuration management systems for all levels of part set up and changes/updates.
• Lead or participate in department improvement activities.
• Learning, understanding, improving and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
• Maybe call upon to perform comparable duties of similar or related nature/assist in other areas as needed.

Education & Experience:
• Minimum of an associate’s degree in field related to specific position is preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in a related position, or experience in lieu of education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Specific skills, proficiencies, and knowledge in field related to position, as identified by department leadership.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 principles is preferred.
• Understanding/Ability to learn Aerospace 9102 First Article Inspections Requirements
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and inspections is preferred.
• High level customer service (internal and external)
• Basic problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Proficiency with a computer, including Microsoft Office.
• Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.
• Ability to read drawings and work instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
• Travel may be necessary, based on position.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Working Conditions: Exposure to a normal office environment. Position may occasionally require entering a production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
