Receiving Coordinator

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving incoming products and serving as backup to Inventory Control. This position plays a key role in moving materials to assist in the efficient operation of AeroGo’s manufacturing processes. The work is highly precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to detail. This position reports to the Materials Manager.

DUTIES:

  • Receive incoming products, including complete visual inspection, reconciliation of receiving/purchasing documentation, and part tag control.
  • Notification and/or delivery of incoming product to end user or inventory control location.
  • Complete daily receiving entries accurately in computer system.
  • Serve as backup for Inventory Control including maintenance of inventory areas, cycle counts, and kitting orders for production.
  • Adhere to manufacturing plant safety standards.
  • Promote a positive work environment by modeling AeroGo core values.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two (2) years of receiving experience preferred.
  • Inventory control experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. MRP or ERP experience preferred.
  • Mathematical skills including calculating percentages, area, circumference, volume, and conversion of Units of Measure and Weights.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to be self-directed, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Ability to be trained to use a forklift.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively across departments while building trusted relationships and positively influencing others.

HOURS

Shift hours are 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This an hourly, non-exempt position with starting pay range of $22.00 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience. There is an annual profit share bonus for meeting production goals.

Excellent benefits include medical (HSA and preferred plan options), dental, vision, 401(k) matching, Employee Assistance Program, and referral bonus. Paid holidays and Paid Time Off plan. Employees who select the HSA medical plan will receive $50/month in employer contributions to a Health Savings Account to use on qualified medical expenses.

This position is represented by the Air Cushion Workers Union. Members are required to be in “good standing”.

Physical Requirements

The position requires working in a factory environment which may include hot, cold, or noisy conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Also required is the ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders and stairs, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary. Must be able to walk extended distances over uneven ground while wearing proper PPE.
