PAP Compliance Team Captain

The Opportunity

As a PAP Compliance Team Captain, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the successful adherence of patients to their Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy. This role requires a blend of leadership, clinical knowledge, and effective communication skills to motivate and guide the team in achieving compliance goals and improving patient outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sleep Coaches to achieve individual and team targets. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to enhance team performance and professional development.
  2. Compliance Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring and tracking of CPAP compliance metrics for assigned patient populations. Analyze compliance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  3. Patient Engagement: Develop strategies to engage patients and promote adherence to CPAP therapy. Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to implement personalized interventions and support programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  4. Educational Outreach: Conduct educational sessions for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to increase awareness of the importance of CPAP therapy compliance. Provide resources and guidance on troubleshooting common issues and optimizing CPAP usage.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practices in CPAP therapy management. Implement protocols for monitoring equipment functionality, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports and performance metrics to track compliance outcomes, identify barriers to adherence, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Present findings to management and stakeholders to support decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.
  7. Collaborative Partnerships: Foster collaborative relationships with internal departments, external vendors, and healthcare partners to streamline processes, resolve issues, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow optimization, and innovation in CPAP compliance management. Lead initiatives to implement changes, evaluate outcomes, and drive continuous quality improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • 1 year experience working with CPAP patients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. 
  • Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance 
  • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
