The Opportunity
Within Aeroflow, the Diabetes team is comprised of customer facing, physician facing roles, sales, marketing, billing, and operations roles.
- Aeroflow Diabetes focuses on providing best in class customer support for diabetic patients looking for continuous glucose monitoring therapy through their insurance
- We support those patients who are looking to replace traditional blood glucose monitors with the newest standard of care
- Our team helps patients change their lives by making this new technology accessible, affordable, and delivered right to their door.
Your Primary Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. Customer Service Representative is typically responsible for
- Making outbound calls to physicians to obtain prescriptions and proper paperwork
- Analyzing paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Data entry and digital filing of paperwork
- Excellent customer service
- Work efficiently with high attention to detail,
- Remain organized
- Participate as an engaged member of the team
- Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication
- Ability to multitask – shifting between open applications as you speak with patients
- General Computer and Email Proficiency

- Experience with insurance, particularly Medicare
- A background in the healthcare sector
- Personal knowledge of Diabetes

*Starting pay at $18 an hour
Must be able to come into the Asheville, NC office for the first 90 days for training - then the position has the ability to be fully remote
