Aerobond Composites is Hiring a Manufacturing Assembler Near Springfield, MA

POSITION SUMMARY:

Primes and paints and/or assembles products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Accomplishes various production assembly functions that are somewhat complicated in nature.
  • Operates hand tools, power tools, or production equipment
  • Ensure that safety protocols within the paint room and assembly areas are followed.
  • Ensure that only unexpired product is utilized in order to perform job activities.
  • Ensure that all labor hours are accurately recorded
  • Ensure familiarity with all appropriate work instructions and procedures and request assistance if something is not understood. Follow traveler instructions to ensure standards and requirements are met.
  • Marking of all operation completion stamps and OSV stamps upon conclusion of every operation.
  • Responsible for individual efficiency and quality
  • Clean work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Adhere to all OSHA safety requirements and ABC safety procedures.
  • Adhere to Export Compliance Program

GENERAL

The position includes all other responsibilities that may be necessary to fulfill the duties associated with the position or as may be assigned.

Training and Experience:

  • Min. high school education or equivalent and at least 2 years experience.
  • Procedure and work instruction training: On the job and general and all-hands training

Visual Acuity: Accommodation as required for reading computer screens and documents

Working Conditions: normal office and manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
