We are not your standard mill physical therapy clinic, we are a small hometown clinic that puts the needs of the clinician and the patient above profits like some of the bigger therapy franchises. Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will provide support to our physical therapists in delivering high-quality care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the healthcare field and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Areas of Practice:
Orthopedic - Sports Medicine - Geriatric - Some Neuro with Post Stroke / Parkinson's Disease
Duties:
-Deliver inspired physical therapy treatments
-Dedicated to life long learning with weekly training sessions and technique reviews to help build confidence
- Assist physical therapists with patient care, including preparing treatment areas and equipment
- Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities under the guidance of a physical therapist
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with various treatment modalities such as exercise prescription and patient education.
- PTA degree
-Willingness to learn new skills and techniques then apply them
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
