Aero Performance and Physical Therapy PLLC is Hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Near North Liberty, IA

We are a small thriving clinic looking for a motivated PTA to join our team. We are not your standard mill physical therapy clinic, we are a small hometown clinic that puts the needs of the clinician and the patient above profits like some of the bigger therapy franchises. We pride ourselves on doing things differently because we do not have people up the chain.

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will provide support to our physical therapists in delivering high-quality care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the healthcare field and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Areas of Practice:

Orthopedic - Sports Medicine - Geriatric - Some Neuro with Post Stroke / Parkinson's Disease

Duties:

-Deliver inspired physical therapy treatments

-Dedicated to life long learning with weekly training sessions and technique reviews to help build confidence
- Assist physical therapists with patient care, including preparing treatment areas and equipment
- Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities under the guidance of a physical therapist
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with various treatment modalities such as exercise prescription and patient education.

- PTA degree

-Willingness to learn new skills and techniques then apply them
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

Pay: $19.30 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
