Title: Mechanical Quality Control Inspector

Location: Valencia, CA

Status: Full Time

Aero Engineering is a manufacturing company that makes sheet metal and machine parts. We are looking for Mechanical Quality Control Inspector with minimum five years experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect Aerospace parts to ensure they are meeting specifications.
• Measures to verify item is within specification tolerances.
• Logs all inspection results including rejects.
• Create a program and run AQL on CMM
• Correctly read and interpret detailed, assembly-level drawings and customer specifications
• Inspect parts using a variety of inspection instruments and equipment (e.g. CMM, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, height gages, comparator, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CMM
• Two years minimum mechanical inspection experiences
• Knowledge of hand tools
• Familiar with AS9102 requirements
• Understanding of production safety rules and procedures
• GD&T Terminology and Symbols Education /ASME Y14.5
• Knowledge of Sheet metal Lay-out Development
• Knowledge of AWS D17.1
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Pay Ranges:

Based on candidate’s qualifications, the position pay ranges are between $20.00-$28.00
