This position is in support of the METTS II contract at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) on the Redstone Arsenal located in Huntsville Alabama. This position is in direct support of the Valve and Component Laboratory supporting test activities as well as other pressure systems activity across MSFC.

Job Description/Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed involving a sequence of related operations necessary to restore components to their original condition. Receives detailed process instructions and seeks explicit advice from Team Lead or a senior technician on unfamiliar assignments as needed and performs recurring work independently. Records and documents pertinent component information and operation in process instructions during servicing. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy and conformity with process instructions upon completion. Technician should be familiar with mechanical equipment such as valves, regulators, gauges, pumps.
