We are currently seeking a skilled Road Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the road construction industry, with a strong background in paving, excavation, and concrete work.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirements for estimating purposes.

- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for road construction projects, including paving, excavation, and concrete work.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating.

- Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.

- Maintain and update a cost tracking system to compare estimated costs with actual costs throughout the project lifecycle.

- Participate in site visits and meetings to understand project scope and limitations.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in road construction, with a focus on paving, excavation, and concrete work.

- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
