To be eligible for consideration, candidates must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance.

Join the unique Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, an exclusive U.S. Air Force unit stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. Our division specializes in life cycle management for information assurance and various cyberspace support systems. The HNC division plays a pivotal role in technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization of cutting-edge cybersecurity systems and products.

Responsibilities

• Candidate will advise and support work that involves the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software. The functions required to be performed by individuals assigned to this specialty may include:
• Analyzing and refining systems requirements.
• Translating systems requirements into applications prototypes.
• Planning and designing systems architecture.
• Determining and designing applications architecture.
• Determining output media/formats.
• Designing user interfaces.
• Working with customers to test applications.
• Assuring software and systems quality and functionality.
• Integrating hardware and software components.
• Writing and maintaining program documentation.
• Evaluating new applications software technologies; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services.
• Plan and or implement agile acquisition/SW development techniques.
• Plan and or implement DevOps processes and techniques for Cloud and non-cloud applications.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Active TS/SCI preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages to include Python, Java, JavaScript, and C languages is preferred.
• Experience working and incorporating Agile Scrum development methodology.
