Aegeus is Hiring a Construction Materials Testing Technician Near Richland, WA

Position Overview

Aegeus Inspection Solutions has an opening for a Construction Materials Testing Technician (Civil Technician II) in our Richland, WA Office. AIS is a leader in Construction Materials Testing and Inspection with a focus on Nuclear Level Quality.

The main duties include:

  • Ensure that all testing equipment used is functioning properly, maintained as required by company and/or manufacturer's policy, and that all calibrated equipment is within its calibration cycle
  • Ensure that project testing requirements are met and compliant with project specifications, requirements, and company policies or procedures

The Pay Range for this position is $23-28/hr. Pay range for this job level is a general guideline only for States that enforces pay transparency and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, certifications, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant testing or inspections experience
  • Technical Background in Civil Materials and Construction techniques preferred
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Certificates and Licenses Required

  • Preference to one or more of the following certifications:
    • ICC
    • ACI
    • Nuclear Gauge/Nuclear Density
    • WABO
    • WAQTC
    • ODOT
  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
