Social Media Manager
Sports Endeavors is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead channel strategy, content planning, and community engagement across all Soccer.com social media platforms.
As our Social team captain, you'll bring proven social marketing expertise, creative storytelling talent, and passion for the beautiful game to America's leading soccer specialist retailer, building our brand's connection to millions of soccer players and fans across the nation.
This role travels 20-25% and is hybrid; typically in our Hillsborough, NC office 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You'll own the Soccer.com social calendar, planning consistent, platform-optimized programming across all Soccer.com social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Threads, and YouTube) and capitalizing on key soccer moments to drive social engagement and audience growth.
  • You'll lead the content development process for Soccer.com social channels, collaborating with digital marketing colleagues, in-house photo/video producers, and external partners, to create social-first creative assets that effectively bring to life Soccer.com brand initiatives and product marketing campaigns in social.
  • You'll be the gatekeeper for all content published to Soccer.com social channels, writing or approving social post copy, and reviewing creative assets to ensure brand standards are met and channel best practices are followed.
  • You'll be the go-to source for social marketing insights, closely tracking emerging trends, tools, and platforms to evaluate where we should show up and how.
  • You'll own social analytics, continually measuring success and translating performance data into everything from new content ideas to more impactful channel strategies.
  • You'll oversee our social media monitoring, ensuring rapid responses to mentions/messages, and proactive engagement with relevant conversations involving Soccer.com, key partners, and soccer in general.
What We're Looking For:
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, with a proven track record of successfully managing brand channels, preferably sports related.
  • You're passionate about every facet of social media marketing, with a deep understanding of social strategy, emerging trends, content creation protocols, and platform-specific best practices.
  • You're a soccer person through and through. Along with current or recent experience playing the game, you are very dialed in to the events, leagues, teams and players that drive headlines in North America and around the world.
  • You understand and embrace the 24/7 nature of sports. You have the forward-thinking mindset to align resources around the moments that matter most to our soccer-obsessed audience, and the flexibility to tap in when key events are happening during evenings and weekends.
  • You're a skilled communicator, verbally and in writing, with demonstrated creativity and attention to detail, especially when crafting platform-appropriate copy.
  • You have a creative eye, with the confidence to make quick editorial decisions on photo selects, video deliverables, and designed assets destined for our social channels.
  • You possess the necessary Adobe Creative Suite proficiency to create/edit standardized social creative assets, ensuring brand and channel consistency.
  • You're the ultimate team player, with a proven ability to lead collaborative ideation and execution alongside internal colleagues and external partners.
  • You're highly organized, with the time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
