This position will involve leadership, training, and process improvement to uphold the quality standards and contribute to the success of View Boston. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to interact with guests to assure guest satisfaction.
• Provide our guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed their expectations.
• Serve food, soda, water, wine, cocktails, draft beer, and bottled beer.
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within View Boston Observatory.
• Support the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
• Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of food, beverage, and retail outlets within View Boston Observatory.
• Assist in overseeing servers and provide guidance, support, and ensure the team meets performance goals.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and represent View Boston effectively.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries or issues, ensuring a positive resolution, and maintain a high customer satisfaction level.
• Generate and analyze guest service metrics and reviews, identifying trends and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, events, IT, security, to ensure a cohesive and positive overall guest experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned by View Boston Management as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience as a bartender for at least two years.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English Language to communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Must have 2-3 years working in a fast-paced high-end club, or restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
