Position Overview: Control Room Technician will provide technical support for each event, stage show, and sports production he/she is scheduled for.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be committed to "World Class" operations in terms of a professional business; understand the needs Sharks Sports and Entertainment (SSE) vision and purpose so that the objectives are achieved.
• Exercise creativity, initiative and good judgment in the handling of all Technical Services functions.
• Follow directions from guidelines stated within the control room SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) documents for control room equipment.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• (1-2) years of college with radio/television and/or live audio-visual production experience.
• Good organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Word, and Excel operation.
• Proven ability to operate various AV and or scoreboard systems for large sporting, entertainment, and corporate events.
• Ability to perform in a high-energy and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with others in the execution of the highest quality production.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at extreme heights.
• Ability to meet appearance standards.
• Ability to work flexible working hours including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• EVS Replay hardware/software
• Ross Xpression/Video playback software
• Technical Directing & knowledge of broadcast-level Grass Valley switchers
• Show control / Daktronics sign display software
• Broadcast camera operation
• Audio board operation
• Basic understanding of A/V signal flow
• Lighting Console experience
• Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After-Effects, Photoshop)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
• Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals
• Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation
• Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
• Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice)
• May be required to travel to other company locations
• May be required to attend conference, events, and training sessions within Bay Area or in- or out-of-state locations.
