Job Summary
Installs, repairs and maintains water treatment systems and water softeners in designated locations in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Completes service calls and projects as assigned and dispatched.
· Installs and changes filters.
· Installs, repairs and maintains water treatment systems such as, water softeners, RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems, etc.
· Utilizes manufacturer’s specifications, installation guides and part numbers to correctly install water treatment systems such as, water softeners, RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems, etc.
· Locates and diagnoses problems in existing equipment and water systems such as, water softeners, RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems, etc.
· Installs, tests, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs elements of said water treatment systems such as, water softeners, RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems, etc.
· Completely and accurately tests installed equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order prior to departure from installation site.
· Provides a thorough explanation of equipment, its capabilities and operation to the customer; responds to all questions in a courteous and knowledgeable manner.
· Accurately completes all necessary paperwork including, but not limited to, work orders, service orders, time logs and emergency information schedules.
· Maintains inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels; participates in form inventory process on a regularly scheduled basis.
· Maintains control of all assigned company property and ensures that equipment is maintained, in safe operating condition, at all times.
· Ensures that all company safety policies and guidelines are followed to promote a safe workplace.
· Safely operates assigned company vehicle and ensures that it is maintained according to manufacturer’s specifications.
· Keeps assigned company vehicle clean and organized.
· Exhibits appearance and conduct in accordance with established company standards to present a professional image to customers and the general public; maintains the highest degree of decency, honesty and integrity as a guest in a customer’s business.
· When on call, ensures availability by phone or pager contact, at all times, for service calls.
· Must maintain a clean driving record.
· Must have the desire and ability to travel out of town as may be needed (possibly 20% - 85% anticipated) and to be available to management by various modes of communication.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
· High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
· Must be competent in the English language.
· Must hold or obtain and maintain a TCEQ WTS Class III License.
· Must hold and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Must reside in the assigned service area.
