**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking a highly motivated **Structural Engineering Intern** to work with the Dams and Hydropower team in **Denver, Colorado.**

_This position is expected to begin in May 2024._

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.

Candidates must have completed 2 year of study in their program.

Valid U.S. Drivers License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.

As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Knowledge with AutoCAD, Mathcad, and SAP 2000.

Focus in structural engineering.

Interest in structural concrete design and hydraulic structures.

**Additional Information**

Relocation is available for this position.

Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $18.59/hour - $25.55/hour.
