Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Safety, Health, & Environmental Sr Manager to be based in Sacramento, CA . This job is open to remote work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and facilitates implementation of the Authority’s system security policies, procedures, and related specifications and construction security program

  • Coordinates with industry, local, state, and federal representatives to implement appropriate levels of system security for the CHRS Program

  • Manages the development and implementation of the system security strategy for the CHSR

  • Assist in the management of internal CHSR and external safety and security committees and working groups to develop system security programs, processes and plans

  • Assist in the management of the safety and security team providing services to the program

  • Develops the CHSRP emergency management program including design, preparedness, response and recovery

  • Works with engineering, operations, maintenance and other staff to ensure that the system is being designed to security criteria

  • Supports Authority’s Safety and Security committees meeting and working groups

  • Supports to the Authority’s Integrated Safety Management System

  • Supports oversight of the Safety and Security Certification program

  • Prepare Safety and Security Task Monthly Status report and Delivery Status Review

  • Supports safety and security oversight of the Design Build contractors

  • Supports the management of safety and security documents provided to document control

  • Supports the hazard management program

  • Supports implementation system safety & security programs as well as Fire and Life – Safety and Security strategy

  • Performs other safety and security related activities as required

  • Provide support to Safety and Security deliverables

  • Develop Fire, Life, Safety, and Security resource gap analysis

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Health, Safety, Environment, or related field.

  • 15 years' experience in transportation security, or operations

  • Safety and / or security certifications: OSHA 30, ASP CSP, First-aid/CPR, System safety, system security, emergency management

  • Project management experience

  • Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $123,000 - $227,000.
