Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Scheduler III for immediate employment in Arlington, VA. The successful candidate will be part of the PPM Project Controls Group, supporting various Project Control Managers and staff mainly with scheduling and risk-related tasks, and cost estimation as needed.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to
Reviewing and analyzing monthly schedule Updates and Baselines (resource loaded if required) using the CPM method in Primavera P6
Performing schedule layouts and filters of schedules as requested by the project PMs and Owners
Supporting the development schedules from RFP, engineering drawings and specifications
Assisting and development discipline meeting reviews for the creation of large transportation projects
Updating and producing scheduling management reports
Identifying schedule issues, opportunities, and corrective actions to mitigate potential project delays
Representing company and/or project in meetings with owner, A/E representatives and other contractors as required
Explaining schedule and positions in a formal meeting, presentation, or negotiation
Resource load schedule and perform schedule risk analysis
Assisting in developing and maintaining WBS and help ensure that project coding is effectively assigned per contract documents and project scheduling requirements
Developing construction sequencing for schedules from project scopes.
Understand construction contracting and the scheduling implications of contract terms
Identifying and assisting in analysis of project schedule variances. Identifies and analyzes schedule variances and recommends associated corrective action
Assisting and developing schedule durations for proposal manhours
Coordination and assembling of data for schedule updates
Assume responsibility for some elements of baseline schedule and associated maintenance
Basic cost analysis and forecasting related to planning and scheduling
Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated schedule trends
Supporting various levels of project reporting
Participating in and at times, leading project planning and scheduling review meetings
Assisting in procedure development and implementation of project control procedures
Performing cost comparison analyses between in-house estimates, contractor estimates and schedule concurrence
Working with Progressive Design Build, Design Build, and DoD
Work on Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint software, Procore, e-Bulder, and other similar programs
Concentrating on one or more detailed tasks and multiple projects
Respond to demands of projects from Owners, Clients and Internal managers while communicating status and progress
Multitask and meet project demands and deliverable dates
Will work on the scope control and change management and will incorporate direct changes into schedule baseline

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must have construction means, methods, and sequences
Must have Primavera P6 scheduling software
Must have Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling experience and analyzing schedules to determine duration and logic issues
Field project engineering experience in transportation, building, and DoD

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is: $106k - $140k
