Job Description

Civil Engineering Project Manager

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager for an exciting opportunity in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves overseeing a complex infrastructure program for the Georgia Ports Authority, which is one of the largest and fastest-growing ports in North America. Additionally, the project manager will support various port and marine clients in the southeast region. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, design, and analysis for civil engineering and site development projects. A hybrid work environment is available for this position.

Responsibilities include:

* Manage all project phases including project administration, project financial/controls, scheduling, cost control, client satisfaction, safety, and quality

* Operates under the direction of Senior Program Manager

* Manages moderately complex projects, self-performs elements of project planning and design, and leads engineering teams and technicians to develop civil infrastructure design plans and site development projects

* May supervise senior-level engineers

* Engineer of Record on civil engineering projects

* Oversee engineers and technicians to ensure quality design and analysis work consistent with government policies and guidelines

* Develop a strong relationships with client(s)

* Participate in client and permit application meetings as part of design projects

Qualifications

Minimum:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

* Six plus years of experience designing civil engineering projects and site development projects

Preferred:

* Georgia PE or ability to obtain through reciprocity in 6 months

* Experience in design and construction practices

* Experience in engineering principles and practices in broad areas, such as stormwater, roadway geometric design, utilities, infrastructure, earthwork, and streetscape

* Experience scoping/estimating complex civil infrastructure projects

* Experience tracking and managing project budgets and schedules

* Experience leading and training entry-level engineers.

* Computer skills using a spreadsheet and standard office software

* Proficient in technical analysis software

* Valid driver's license and good driving record

* Current holder of, or have no restrictions to obtain, Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)

The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $75,000.00 to $120,000.00.
