Job Description

AECOM Water is seeking a talented Professional Engineer for our San Diego, CA office. This Engineer will join our expanding Water group.

  • Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for the team.

  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

  • Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high high-quality effective work by others.

  • Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

  • Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

  • Uses expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of PS&E package.

  • Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

  • Prepares technical specification sections.

  • Provides input to the development of the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8 years of relevant Water industry experience

  • Experience managing projects

  • California PE license

Additional Information

Compensation

  • Exempt. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and (California only )work location. The salary range is $95,000-$165,000/annually USD.
