**Job Description**

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated civil engineer for the opportunity to learn and support civil infrastructure and mine waste storage projects as part of the Water Business Lines Mining Division in Denver, CO. The position will involve working under the guidance of a Senior Civil Engineer on a variety of our clients open and closed mine sites performing the 3D modeling earthwork grading, designs/layouts to support the required infrastructure of new waste storage, expansions to existing or closed facilities.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

Bachelors degree in civil engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Must possess a valid drivers license

**Preferred Qualifications:**

EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Internship in civil engineer consulting

Basic Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills

Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment

Exhibits initiative, responsibility and flexibility

Resourceful, highly organized, and detail oriented

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Effective time-management and interpersonal Skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Relocation is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00.
