Job Description AECOM has a need for a Director, Human Resources Business Partner to support the West Region HR Team. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of office and virtual/telecommute work schedules. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as strategic partner to assigned client group(s), designing, and implementing plans that address hiring, retention, development, and engagement. Coach and consult leaders and people managers on organizational effectiveness, talent management, performance and development so they can lead the organization to meet established business targets using best practice techniques and processes. Leverage change management and organizational development tools to facilitate organizational redesigns, team integrations and new manager assimilations. Facilitate the talent review process and create plans to develop and deploy our key talent and address succession gaps. Implement talent development. performance management, engagement and ED&I programs within client groups in order to become “a great place to work” company. Analyze people metrics to identify trends and courses of action; make people metrics visible routinely to drive leadership behavior and action. In collaboration with Compensation team, ensure client group is able to attract, reward, and retain needed talent while ensuring internal pay equity. Understand existing workforce and work with managers to anticipate program wins and losses to redeploy resources. Work with Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers and Resource Directors to ensure robust, efficient, process that secures the key talent we need to manage the business. Providing consultation, guidance and support in all matters related to employee relations including performance management, code of conduct, fair employment practices, accommodations and all other application of local policies, work rules, procedures and applicable laws. Provide business and employee perspective and insights to Centers of Excellence in order to represent the business in HR strategy/program/policy development. Other duties as may be assigned.
