Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Interior Designer to be based in New York, NY .
This position is expected to begin immediately.
Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.
• Provides the planning, design and construction of buildings, landscapes and products. This group creates the style and method of design and construction of buildings and other physical structures.
• Exercises sound judgment in assessing problem situations or complex design issues and uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
• Understanding of the discipline's equipment and material lists.
• Advises the Interior Design Director/Leader about status of assignment(s) with respect to schedule, budgets, delays, and adverse problems.
• Understands and assists with the planning and scheduling of design tasks associated with assigned project.
• Assists in interpreting industry codes, permits, and standards, and ensures design and drawing compliance.
• Understands the role of each of the other disciplines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or in another related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $23.23/hour - $31.94/hour.
