Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager who can immediately step into a role to serve their municipal and DOT clients with their transportation projects and lead a team of engineers in their brand-new office HQ Lawrence, MA. This hire will have an opportunity to play a critical role in project delivery through effective client interfacing and team leadership.
Responsibilities
? Manage a team of engineers in the delivery of transportation projects
? Effectively interact with staff, clients, and stakeholders to deliver project solutions
? Mentor engineering staff in all phases of design development
? QA/QC of project elements to include technical reporting, plans, specifications, and estimates
? Management tasks of transportation projects including schedules, budgets, contracts, invoicing, etc.
? Facilitation of client meetings and public presentations

? Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
? Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
? Through responsible autonomy, manage individual tasks and assignments
? Self-starter and motivator with attention to detail

Qualifications
? BS in civil engineering or related field
? Licensed PE required
? 7 years of transportation/highway design experience
? Familiarity with AASHTO and MassDOT design manuals, standards, and procedures
? Management of transportation projects for municipalities and DOT
? Client interaction and team management
