PART TIME STORE ASSOCIATE

This is a part time position that will average 20 hours per week - Availability Tuesday - Saturday 10am-6pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Store Associate to join the AE AMMO team. AE AMMO Store Associates run a cash register and help answer questions for customers purchasing products from our physical store located in Greenwood, Indiana. Store Associates are responsible for stocking products, facilitating sale of products through our point of sale system, and other general store duties. The Store Associate position is a moderately paced role that requires understanding of basic math, attention to details, and an optimistic attitude. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of running a cash register, making change, strong attention to detail, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs, & have a flexible work schedule. Friday & Saturday availability is required though this person will not be required to work every Friday or Saturday.

Location - Greenwood, Indiana

Compensation - Starting at $20/hour with bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

• Operating a cash register & point of sale.
• Answer store phone and answer questions for guests / customers.
• Greeting and being friendly with guests / customers.
• Accountability for providing correct return change on a cash sale.
• Organizing and stocking merchandise on shelves and designated locations.
• Keeping the store clean and a healthy shopping environment.
• Creating out of stock lists / reports for product replenishment.
• Keeping a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older (Legally Required for Industry)
• Strong work ethic
• Punctuality & adhering to work schedule
• Responsible and self motivated
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
• Ability to stand or walk for up to long periods of time.
• Basic computer skills. You must be willing to learn how to use the point of sale system on the computer.
• Answering store phone calls.
• Awareness of safety practices.
• Candidates must have control of their emotions. We will not tolerate a toxic workplace environment.
• Friday and Saturday availability (up to the full shift of 10am - 6pm though this would not be a regular scheduled shift at this time.)

Preferred

• Knowledge of different varieties of ammunition.
• Experience making change and running a cash register / point of sale system.
