Internal Communications team
We are looking for a Senior Internal Communications Manager to join our global Internal Communications team. This role is based in Amsterdam, however, as we are establishing a global function, it will require occasional travel to different offices, for key moments throughout the year.

The role of the Internal Communications team is to ensure that the global Adyen team remains informed, connected, and engaged during the next stages of our growth. Therefore, a successful candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled storyteller with a proven track record in an internal communications function that promotes engagement and dialogue at scale, preferably in the tech industry. Being able to switch quickly between strategic planning and tactical execution is essential for success in this role, as well as being comfortable working closely with various stakeholders (Adyen’s Management Board and leadership teams, HR, ERGs, Tech, Marketing…).

What you’ll achieve

  • You will play a key role in further developing and scaling Adyen’s internal communications strategy.
  • You will implement processes and tools to enhance our internal communications infrastructure that fosters dialogue and engagement in a high-growth environment.
  • You will be a key business partner to leadership teams and help them cascade messaging and engage their global teams.
  • You will be responsible for crafting content and event strategies that advance the execution of our global internal communications strategy.
  • You will enable Adyen's product solutions, commercial pillars, and regions to exchange their strategies, milestones, and goals through an integrated internal communications plan, utilizing creative formats such as video, podcasts, and short and long-form content.
  • You will establish a data-driven internal communications program, emphasizing measurement and evaluation of its impact.

Who you are

You have relevant, proven experience (5-7 years) as an internal communications professional in a high-growth environment.

  • You are a skilled communicator with excellent written and verbal command of the English language and storytelling abilities.
  • You thrive in a high-growth environment and excel at building creative and cross-cultural communication strategies.
  • You are data-driven, utilizing a numbers-focused approach to internal communications, well-aware that valuable insights lie within the data.
  • You enjoy achieving results in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly switch between tactical and strategic priorities.
  • You can drive projects from A-Z with excellent project and stakeholder management.
