Advocates, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP/1:1 support staff) to work with a spirited young lady with Autism. The ideal candidate is caring, reliable, and engaging. In this critical role, you will help her develop and maintain independent living skills, along with being social and involved within her community. Related experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Candidates must possess a keen sense of attention to detail, especially when electronically logging each day’s times, and service documentation. Internet access and a valid email address are required.

Hours and days of work available

Days of the week can vary, Tuesday-Friday (12pm-5pm)

Pay rate: $24/hour when providing direct support. The hourly rate for indirect support and training is $15/hour.

Location: Brewerton/Central Square, NY

Reliable transportation is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check with be conducted prior to hiring.
