Advocate Home Health Care and Private Duty is Hiring a Home Health Care Provider (PT) Near Duncannon, PA
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
- Following a prescribed health care plan, which may include assisting with exercise.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.
- Providing mobility assistance and transfer, for example, helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair.
- Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
- A professional and friendly attitude.
- Ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Able to pass a background check.
- One-on-one care! No bouncing from case to case and no extensive travel is required.
- No certifications required.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Must have 3-5 years experience as a professional home health aide or experience working in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a current 2 step TB test or willing to get one before starting.
- Willing to travel up to 60 miles from Williamsport.
- Choose your own days and shifts.
- Supplement your full-time job.
- Work a variety of cases.
- Pay rate: $20/hr
