Advocate Aurora is Hiring an Activation Plng Mgr Near Milwaukee, WI
Major Responsibilities:
Works to operationalize new physical environments.
Manages and collaborates with Operations Improvement and project teams to create and test future state work flows that are consistent with the intended vision, culture, technologies, best practices and physical design.
Focuses on optimization of patient flows within and between departments, care model integration, communication, key work flows & processes, education & training, and standardization of the care environment.
Works across multidisciplinary teams to ensure partnership & collaboration.
Manages post occupancy evaluations in collaboration with department directors for lessons learned and benchmark measuring for targeted performance.
Responsible for participating in structuring the system-wide Activation Planning process including direct responsibility for a number of aspects associated with service-line improvements, product development, process improvement strategies, knowledge-based development, quality control measures and customer relations mechanisms and strategies.
As assigned, develops, monitors, and updates policies and procedures which apply to activation planning projects throughout Advocate Aurora.
Assists with the development of department internal professional development program and training, including clinical operations impacts on planning, design and construction.
Bachelor's Degree in Building & Construction or related field.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 7 years of experience in project management, consulting, planning or nursing with emphasis in hospital planning.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Proficiency in Excel and Word processing software.
Good communication and analytic skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
Exposed to a normal office environment.
