Job Description

SAP MDM Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the new Master Data Strategy operating model (material & production master), sharing best practice across the organization and delivering a first-class data management service to the network.
  • Responsible and accountable for creating policies, guidelines, business definitions, metrics, and standards for handling operations data specific but not limited to Materials Master, Production Master
  • Evaluate current data workflows, identifying opportunities for streamlining, automation, and advanced data management techniques.
  • Partner with local affiliates, various regional and global teams, lead design and delivery of end-to-end data processes on MDM, including data stewardship processes.
  • Responsible for the management of data integration compliant with multi-national data regulations, working closely with various stakeholders, producing transparent reporting on transactional data methods as needed.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture team, define key data domains and attributes to help standardize the data model to drive data quality across the global enterprise.
  • Engage actively in cross functional projects, ensuring seamless integration of master data across varied systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain effective KPIs to manage data integrity, and SLA adherence.
  • End to end ownership of materials master & production master data management business operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the enterprise-MDM team to ensure holistic end to end use cases related to MDM are considered and reviewed.
  • Govern and evolve current data integration standards policies and procedures.
  • Remain current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in data governance, data management, and data privacy.

The role will also include the following tasks:

  • Leading Data Governance activities, ensuring quality of outcomes and adherence to timelines.
  • Building and maintaining the data dictionary/catalog, data reviews and other sustainment processes
  • Mapping data sources and collaborating with business/technical stewards to find opportunities to automate data collection.
  • Performing data audits and reporting out to business partners
  • Crafting quality checks, defining, and maintaining business rules, and performance reporting and visualization
  • Developing operation management plans, updating procedures, and creating training materials

Basic Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Business, Operations and/or Supply Chain and 4 years of experience in SAP ERP & Data Analytics

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations and/or Supply Chain and 6 years of experience in SAP ERP & Data Analytics

OR

Associates degree in Business, Operations and/or Supply Chain and 8 years of experience in SAP ERP & Data Analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established expertise and knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Biotech Supply Chain and GMP processes.
  • Rich experience in MDM consulting, Data Governance with knowledge across multiple data domains
  • Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills with experience in leveraging data from SAP.
  • Automation mindset with track record of operationalizing processes with quality embedded.
  • Prior experience leading process change and/or systems implementation strongly preferred.
  • Determined ability to form relationships, collaborate and influence across a multifunctional matrix organization.
  • Ability and willingness to understand and represent the total-enterprise perspective.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects and to be accountable for individual results.
  • Organized and achievement oriented to continuously drive performance.
  • Expertise in Tableau or like platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
