The product launch engineer is a dedicated onsite point of contact for the Amazon Robotics (AR) Fence Line Problem Solve (FLPS) team to manage the deployment, coordination of on-site activities related to alpha test execution, product development, and customer support. They will coordinate with the FLPS development teams to ensure that product features/requirements are validated in production per the test plan, identify operational issues with the new system and drive actions to achieve a steady state operation.
This position assists the Customer Success Manager in coordinating, communicating, and managing launch activities and serve as liaison between site Operations, as well as various internal AR organizations. This role will require the ability to work independently and cross functionally, build relationships, analyze data and capture the voice of the customer.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative, hands on, and solutions-oriented engineer with strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. They will draw upon relevant operations experience, program / project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable systems. The candidate should be open to new challenges, strong at multi-tasking, detail oriented, creative, and a great team player.
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Field (Engineering/Science)
· 2 years of Operations Engineering or Management
· 2 years of Project/Program Management experience
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred:
· Engineering/ science background
