As our customers increasingly use videos and photos from our community to learn about new products, we need a high-judgment, proactive individual to evaluate and generate learnings about visual content (videos and photos) to ensure a great experience for our customers. The Content Evaluation Specialist will have a hands-on role in evaluating the content featured in our experiences and producing insights to ensure we are delivering the best possible experience for our customers. You will also have the opportunity to develop processes and procedures to improve the decision-making process.
The Content Evaluation Specialist will:
* Conduct regular reviews of content being seen by millions of customers to identify trends, issues, and insights
* Produce reports used by Product, Engineering, and Executive teams in strategic decision making
* Understand the processes used to publish new content (e.g., photos and videos) on Amazon
* Review and monitor our content library in line with established procedures to ensure we are delivering a great customer experience
* Work with the Product Management & Engineering teams to raise issues as they arise
* Gather and analyze data on customer reports
* Route questions to the appropriate groups within Amazon
* Ensure the appropriate decision is reached on each report
* Manage communication with various stakeholders
* Be able to work cross-functionally to communicate problems, solutions and implementation plans
This position is a very high visibility role within a strategically important and growing business.
Job Qualifications
* 3 years experience, ideally in content-related roles (e.g., social media management, content moderation, content curation, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable handling a high volume of work on a daily basis
* Familiarity and interest in online, social- or community-based experiences (e.g., forums, product reviews, social media) where everyday people can post content
* Diligent work ethic
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong personal integrity
* Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office tools, specifically MS Excel
* Willingness to learn new software and tools with instruction
* Team player with demonstrated capability to work in a cross-functional environment
* Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
* Bachelor’s degree
